The post would be to provide general research support in order to Professor Andrew Steptoe and can offer extensive experience within preparing grant applications as well as manuscripts. The Psychobiology Group is really a multidisciplinary research team directed through Professor Andrew Steptoe, British Heart Foundation Professor of Psychology. It carries out clinical, experimental as well as survey studies of psychosocial factors as well as health, having a particular focus upon the biological processes by which social as well as emotional factors influence disease risk. Andrew Steptoe can also be responsible for the English Longitudinal Study of Ageing, the large representative study of older women and men in britain. The post is initially funded for 2 years.

Key Requirements
Candidates must have completed PhD training within a relevant area, come with an outstanding academic record as well as first rate writing ability, strong computer skills as well as a good interest within cardiovascular disease or even ageing research.
